Venice Venice Venice, where shall I start… It is the most romantic place in the world! The place is full of history and elegance. As I promised you, I would post more about Venice, so here is a list of a couple of things you should do…Which I have personally experienced and recommend!

Where to go:

  1. Gondola: as means of communication it is the most romantic thing ever. (they charge around 100 euro)
  2. Rialto Bridge: is a famous bridge across the canal with a spectacular view.
  3. Piazza San Marco: its a big square surrounded with cafes and restaurants, they also have alleys which lead to shopping areas and small souvenir shops.
  4. Murano Island: its where the murano factories are located, I wasn’t excited to see them but when I actually was there I had so much fun. I would have regretted not going there. (arrange with the hotel to take you there)
  5. Saint Mark’s Basilica: if you looking for some history this church is located in San Marco square. ilBuranca

Venice is place where you can relax, eat good food and enjoy the walk.

Didn’t you fall in love with Venice just by looking at those pix?!

P.S the pic with the window, I was told it was for Casanova………

Review: CHAYA Restaurant, Beverly Hills

Our choice of restaurant today is the CHAYA Brasserie in Beverly Hills. If you like Euro-Asian cuisine & a romantic, inviting atmosphere then this is the restaurant for you. Inside the middle of the restaurant sits a Japanese bamboo garden which brings the natural outdoor landscape indoors. Celebrities go there too; I saw the Kardashians there!

If you happen to go to Los Angeles soon, you should definitely give this restaurant a visit. I recommend you to go at lunch and enjoy the outside seating, and for the order go for the mouthwatering CHAYA Burger.  You’ll love it!

The Electronic Peephole

Ok so this gadget isn’t exactly a travel gadget, but here’s why I decided to share this product with you.

The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this product was that it would be AMAZING for students that happen to study abroad. A lot of their flats have doors with the peephole, so I thought wouldn’t it be perfect to upgrade the old fashioned small peephole into this new electronic peephole that provides a large, full-color digital display for seeing visitors?

Plus, a lot of people have villas or apartments abroad that they visit once or twice a year, whether it’s in Spain, London, Switzerland….etc. So I thought maybe I’m not the only one who might love the idea.

Description:  The electronic peephole lens provides a wide 96º field of view, and it uses a 1.3 megapixel CMOS, the same image sensor employed by digital cameras. When you turn it on, the image of the person standing outside your door is displayed on the device’s 2 1/2″ TFT screen, allowing adults–even children who may not be able to reach a standard peephole–to clearly see who is visiting. You can also magnify an image using its zoom function, providing a 60º field of view. Its 1/2″ diameter barrel fits through any standard door with a thickness of 1 1/4″ to 2 1/4″. Two included AA batteries power the peephole for up to 1,500 viewings.

5 3/4″ W x 3 1/2″ H x 1 1/2″ D. (6 1/2 oz.)

Price: 36.5 KD

If you liked the electronic peephole you can order it from this LINK.

The Men’s Superior Toiletry Bag

I noticed not only women have a hard time getting all the lotions & beauty products in their luggage in an organized manner. Men do have what’s called the toiletry products such as the shaving products, shampoo, toothbrush & tooth paste…etc.

I found the perfect thing for men! I introduce you The Men’s Superior Toiletry Bag.

This toiletry bag got rated “Best Overall” by The Wall Street Journal. Durable yet compact, it has an internal shelf large enough to accommodate all your travel needs, including full-size shampoo bottles and cans, allowing you to carry your favorites instead of relying on smaller travel-sized products. This bag conveniently hangs unfolded over a door or towel rack to provide you extra space in hotel bathrooms, and gives you easy access to grooming essentials kept neatly organized and visible by internal mesh pockets. The interior has five zippered pockets in addition to the two on the outer sides. Unlike common toiletry bags, the shell is constructed of 1680 denier ballistic nylon to withstand the rigors of travel.

Imported. 8″ H x 12″ W x 5″ D. (1 1/2 lbs.)

Price: 11 KD

Olivia Plaza, a four star hotel located in the center of Barcelona. For those of you who like modern interior this is an amazing hotel. Location was what made me fall in love with it. Right next door was Hard Rock cafe. Rambles road which was also walking distance from the hotel. Shopping mall which i can’t remember its name was right across the road another amazing feature!
Overall, Barcelona was a place which I really enjoyed! Lot’s of amazing activities and lots of nice souvenir shops.

Hotel Danieli-Venice

As I promised you, today I’m posting about our recommended hotel for Venice, I personally haven’t stayed in it because when I went to Venice I stayed in the cruise ship, but based from my search I found that this is one of the top hotels there. The hotel location is quite strategic. It’s a couple of  minutes walk away from St. Mark’s square, which is what you want because the square has spectacular atmoshpere.

We posted about this hotel last month after watching the movie “The Tourist” by Angalina Jolie & Johny Depp. This Hotel was their choice too! To check out the post I’m talking about click here.

I hope you enjoy the hotel 😉
